Cherry & Maple
Having recently moved into this quaint cottage complete with low ceilings, wooden beams and wonky walls. The client approached Steven Andrews Bespoke in search of increased storage and worktop space but crucially somewhere to sit within the room too. The client wanted the least fuss possible so building work was not on the cards, extensive or otherwise.
Creating a peninsular made it possible to incorporate a large amount of extra storage and functionality for both the practical kitchen side and the utility end of the room, housing a boiler and creating decorative display space as well as a focal point table for low level casual dining.
The colour scheme of cream and red is echoed with Cherry and Maple accents in the drawer boxes, shelf lippings, worktops and round table. All handmade made by Steven Andrews Bespoke fine furniture craftsman. The client was delighted with the result, as are we.
“We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen. Steven's design intelligently responded to our requirements coupled with the limitations of our tired cottage kitchen.”
